About Louise

Louise Tucker JonesLouise Tucker Jones is an award-winning author and inspirational speaker, sharing God's love and grace through difficult times. She is the author of Dance from the Heart and co-author with Cheri Fuller of the book, Extraordinary Kids, which received the Gold Medallion book award. She is also co-author of the book, Special Needs, Special Ministry. Louise has also contributed to dozens of compilation books and her articles have been published in numerous magazines including Guideposts, Angels on Earth, Focus on the Family and Special Education Today. She has been a guest on radio and television programs, including Dr. Robert Schuller's, "The Hour of Power."

A lifetime, “Okie,” Louise is a wife, mother and grandmother. She resides in Oklahoma with her husband, Carl, and son, Jay, the youngest of their four children. Being the mother of a child with Down syndrome, Louise often writes and speaks about the abundant gifts God has given to people with special needs.

Louise speaks at banquets, conferences, retreats and other events. She has taught on the faculty of American Christian Writer's Conference and is a member of AWSA (Advanced Writers and Speakers Association). She holds a Master's Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma.
